The Association for Individual Development (AID) is hiring a Part time Direct Support Professional for Community Day Services in Aurora, IL. You will work with individuals needing specialized medical or behavioral support, delivering activities and training under guidance to help meet their goals.

Role requires following individual plans, providing safety, engaging clients, and documenting outcomes. Includes physical tasks and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to support diverse needs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience with individuals requiring developmental or behavioral support preferred.
• Ability to follow Implementation Strategies or Individual Plans as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Provide activities, training, and classes under supervision.
• Implement Behavior Support Strategies and assist with clients with challenging behaviors.
• Maintain documentation and be part of the interdisciplinary team.
