Job summary

Community Services Group in Bethlehem, PA seeks a Program Supervisor to oversee a community home for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will supervise direct support staff, coordinate schedules, and ensure safety, wellbeing, and community participation for residents.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1 year of relevant experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work flexible hours.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum 1 year experience in programs for individuals with mental illness/IDD.
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
Ability to work flexible hours and maintain a professional code of ethics.

Responsibilities

Supervise direct support staff, and assist in interviewing, hiring, orienting and training.
Participate in the on-call system as applicable.
Ensure health, safety and welfare of individuals in the program.
Coordinate schedules, activities and routines and promote community participation.
Arrange transportation for individuals as needed and coordinate use of vehicles.
Communicate relevant information to families and other professionals.
Maintain records of inventory and funds, including petty cash.
Adhere to program budget for supplies and operate within organizational policies.
Perform duties of direct care staff when needed.
