Qualifications

• RN licensure in Iowa is required.
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred.
• Previous experience in acute care preferred.
• CCRN certification preferred ( Magnet approved ).

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients across physical, psychosocial, environmental, spiritual, social and educational needs with nursing interventions.
• Develop and implement care plans and discharge planning.
• Guide and direct nursing care with collaborative teams.
• Provide supervision to Licensed Practical Nurse and Nurse Assistant.
• Deliver teaching to patients/families to meet educational needs.
• Communicate patient changes to the care team clearly and promptly.
• Attend and participate in department meetings and uphold policy adherence.
• Support staffing and resources while remaining flexible with schedule.

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing

RN licensure in Iowa

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

ACUTE CARE EXPERIENCE PREFERRED

CCRN certification preferred
