MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City, IA is seeking a part-time RN to deliver patient care within a multidisciplinary team. The role emphasizes nursing process adherence, collaboration, and evidence-based practice to achieve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Iowa or state RN license as required.
• Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Graduate from an accredited RN program.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and documents patient needs and responses with the multidisciplinary team.
• Develops and updates the plan of care including discharge planning.
• Guides patient care activities using evidence-based practice.
• Provides daily direction to LPN and CNA staff.
• Facilitates learning to meet patient/family education needs.
• Communicates patient changes to colleagues and caregivers.
• Attends departmental meetings and in-services; 80% attendance target.
• Supports staffing needs and uses resources efficiently.
