Job summary

AdventHealth Orlando is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) with ICU experience to join our East Orlando campus. You will assess patients comprehensively, develop care plans, administer treatments, and educate families. A strong team approach and accurate documentation are essential.

Required: Associate's in Nursing, English fluency, BLS, ACLS, and 1+ year ICU experience. Parental leave and other benefits are offered, with a salary range shown.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• ACLS/BLS certifications required.
• 1+ year ICU level or higher experience.
• English fluency (read, verbal, written) and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients including physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and update as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, medications and self-care.
• Coordinate with medical staff and departments to optimize patient care and ensure teamwork.
• Maintain timely documentation in the medical record.
