Job summary
AdventHealth Orlando is accepting applications for a registered nurse to join our full-time day shift team. You will perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop care plans, administer treatments, and educate patients and families while coordinating with a multidisciplinary staff.
Eligible clinicians may advance through our Clinical Ladder Program with salary adjustments based on experience and achievement of criteria.
Qualifications
- RN license required with BLS and ACLS certifications.
- 1+ year in acute care hospital setting preferred.
- English fluency required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological, psychological, developmental and lifestyle factors.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans and adjust them as needed.
- Administer medications and treatments safely per physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and self-care strategies.
- Coordinate with medical staff and departments to ensure effective teamwork and communication.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient information, care activities, interventions and outcomes.
