Job summary

Orlando Health South Lake Hospital in Clermont seeks a Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit. Schedule is 3x12 hour shifts, 7:00am-7:00pm, with rotating weekends. You’ll provide high-acuity care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and contribute to patient-centered outcomes in a trusted community hospital.

Required are RN licensure in Florida or NLC, BLS, and ICU experience preferred; ACLS/NRP/PALS/TNCC for certain areas. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Meets all mandatory, developmental, and performance competency requirements for Orlando Health and unit/department.
• Maintains current RN licensure in Florida or NLC, and current BLS/Healthcare Provider.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC are required for certain areas.
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience; ICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides care for high-acuity patients with complex needs and uses evidence-based practices.
• Monitors patient conditions and responds to rapid changes with clinical judgment.
• Operates and interprets monitors and life-support equipment as required.
• Mentors staff, collaborates with the care team, and supports unit/department goals.
• Documents care accurately and ensures patient safety and quality of care.
