Job summary

ChristianaCare’s MICU is recruiting an Registered Nurse to provide expert care in a high-acuity environment at Christiana Hospital. This role offers full-time night shift with rotations, base schedule 36 hours/week, and opportunities to work with advanced monitoring and life-saving interventions.

Ideal candidates hold a BSN (ADN with BSN commitment within 3 years), have at least 1 year of acute care experience, and BLS (ACLS preferred).

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• ADN considered with BSN commitment within 3 years.
• Minimum 1 year acute care experience required.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred (must obtain within 6 months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• Partner with physicians, specialists, and a multidisciplinary team to deliver life-saving interventions.
• Advocate for patients and families during their most vulnerable moments.
• Use advanced monitoring and treatment strategies to achieve the best outcomes.
