Job summary
ChristianaCare's Medical Intensive Care Unit is hiring a Registered Nurse for the MICU at Christiana Hospital. This full-time flex role covers a 36-hour week with night shift rotations and day shift repeats, located on-site at Christiana Hospital.
You will provide expert care in a high-acuity environment, work closely with a multidisciplinary team, and advocate for patients and families. Required BSN (ADN accepted with BSN commitment within 3 years); minimum 1 year acute care experience; BLS
Qualifications
- BSN required; ADN considered with BSN commitment within 3 years.
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience.
- BLS required; ACLS preferred (must obtain within 6 months of hire).
Responsibilities
- Provide expert care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
- Partner with physicians, specialists, and a multidisciplinary team to deliver life-saving interventions.
- Advocate for patients and families during their most vulnerable moments.
- Use advanced monitoring and treatment strategies to achieve the best outcomes.
