Job summary

ChristianaCare’s MICU team is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide expert care for critically ill patients in a high‑acuity Medical ICU at Christiana Hospital. This full-time night shift with day rotations offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to work with advanced technology and a multidisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates hold a BSN (ADN considered with BSN commitment within 3 years), have at least 1 year of acute care experience, and are BLS certified (ACLS preferred).

Qualifications

• BSN required; ADN accepted with commitment to obtain BSN within 3 years.
• Minimum 1 year acute care experience.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred (must obtain within 6 months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Partner with physicians, specialists, and a multidisciplinary team to deliver life-saving interventions
• Advocate for patients and families during their most vulnerable moments
• Use advanced monitoring and treatment strategies to achieve the best outcomes
