Job summary

ChristianaCare's Medical Intensive Care Unit seeks a Registered Nurse for the MICU at Christiana Hospital. This full-time night shift with day rotation offers a 36-hour workweek and a flexible schedule in a compassionate, high-acuity environment.

You will deliver expert patient care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and advocate for patients and families while leveraging advanced monitoring and therapies. BSN required; ADN with BSN commitment considered within 3 years.

Qualifications

• BSN required; ADN considered with BSN commitment within 3 years.
• Minimum 1 year acute care experience.
• BLS is required; ACLS preferred (must obtain within 6 months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• Partner with physicians, specialists, and a multidisciplinary team to deliver life-saving interventions.
• Advocate for patients and families during their most vulnerable moments.
• Use advanced monitoring and treatment strategies to achieve the best outcomes.
