Job summary

ChristianaCare's Medical Intensive Care Unit is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the MICU team at Christiana Hospital in Pennsylvania. This full-time flex position offers 36 hours per week with night shifts and day rotation.

You will provide expert care to critically ill patients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a high-acuity environment. Requirements include a BSN (ADN considered with BSN commitment within 3 years), 1 year acute care experience, BLS, ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• ADN considered with BSN commitment within 3 years.
• Minimum 1 year acute care experience required.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred (must obtain within 6 months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• Partner with physicians, specialists, and a multidisciplinary team to deliver life-saving interventions.
• Advocate for patients and families during their most vulnerable moments.
• Use advanced monitoring and treatment strategies to achieve the best outcomes.
