Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a dedicated RN for the Medical ICU at Trenton Hospital. The unit manages hemodynamically unstable patients with cardiac-focused care, requiring CRRT, proning for ARDS, and complex monitoring.

You will join a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality patient outcomes on a 36-hour weekly night schedule. Ideal candidates will hold an ASN or BSN, be MI-licensed, and have BLS; ACLS within 6 months, with a preference for 1 year RN experience.

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing (or higher) required.
• Bachelor’s in Nursing required within 5 years.
• MI Registered Nurse (RN) required; NCLEX licensure required if educated at non-accredited school.
• AHA/ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS required within 6 months.
• Specialty certification highly recommended within 2 years.
• 1 year RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care under ANA scope of practice; assess, plan, implement, evaluate and discharge.
• Partner with Nurse Leader and multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care and education.
• Engage in patient-family centered care and document learning in health records.
