Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is hiring a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Cardio Thoracic ICU at our New Brunswick campus. The role requires an ASN or Nursing Diploma and at least 1 year of RN experience in Critical Care. Night shift availability is necessary with a scheduled commitment of 2 shifts per month.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of RN experience in Critical Care or 2 years of Telemetry/Step Down experience required.
• BLS and ACLS certification needed.
• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License required.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act.
• Assures safety in practice and adheres to ethical standards.
• Reports identified safety issues and medical errors.
