Job summary

White Oak Medical Center in Maryland is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for our Intensive Care unit. As an RN you will educate patients and families, serve as a role model to Level I nurses, and apply evidence-based practice to patient care.

This full-time day-shift role offers 36 hours per week across three 12-hour shifts, with weekend and holiday rotation. Maryland licensure, NCLEX, BLS, and ICU experience preferred; annual pay range listed is $37.00–$55.00 per hour, non-exempt

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Passing NCLEX.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience.
• Current Maryland State nursing license.
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by specialty area.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and family through the continuum of care while also striving to advance their own knowledge and skills through guidance from senior nurses and the Clinical Nurse Manager.
• Serve as role models to Level I nurses and use electronic resources to support best practices in patient care.
• Demonstrate professionalism and adhere to ANA standards of practice while fulfilling the nursing mission and vision.
