Job summary

Adventist HealthCare White Oak Medical Center in Silver Spring, MD seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Intensive Care Unit. You will educate patients and families, mentor Level I nurses, and develop care plans while applying evidence-based practices to improve outcomes.

The ideal candidate has an accredited nursing degree, Maryland RN license, NCLEX pass, and BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications are required by specialty.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Passing NCLEX with Maryland RN license.
• Active BLS certification; ACLS/PALS/NRP as required by ICU specialty.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families across the continuum of care.
• Mentor Level I nurses and use electronic resources to support best practices.
• Develop care plans and identify changes in patient condition.
• Conduct literature searches and apply findings to practice.
