Orlando Health Sebastian River Hospital is seeking an experienced registered nurse to join the ECMO/Perfusion team in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. This role focuses on daily staffing for ECMO patients, advanced life support, and collaborative patient care in a high-acuity environment.

You will work under unit leadership with physicians and perfusionists, ensuring perfusion stability, adherence to policies, and education of staff and students.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• 1 year experience required unless approved by AVP level or above.
• Current State of Florida RN license or valid eNLC license.
• BLS/Healthcare Provider required; ACLS/NRP/PALS/TNCC may be required for certain areas.

Responsabilités

• Provides care to patients with high-acuity conditions requiring complex assessment and interventions.
• Monitors patient data and responds to changes with evidence-based actions.
• Operates and monitors ECMO/perfusion equipment and related devices.
• Collaborates with physicians, perfusionists, and interdisciplinary teams to plan and manage patient care.
• Documents care accurately and adheres to regulatory and unit-specific standards.
• Maintains patient safety and provides compassionate, family-centered care.
