Job summary

Orlando Health Melbourne Hospital is seeking an experienced RN with advanced critical care skills to support ECMO services in the CVICU. You will provide direct patient care, monitor ECMO circuits, and collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes.

The role requires Florida RN licensure, BLS, and ECMO-related competencies; clinical excellence and compassionate patient-centered care are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Maintains current State of Florida RN license or valid eNLC multistate RN license.
• Maintains current BLS certification.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC are required for certain areas.

Responsibilities

• Provides care to patients requiring complex assessment and therapies in a high-intensity setting.
• Uses data to respond to rapidly changing patient conditions.
• Documents patient care meeting regulatory standards and analyzes patient needs to adjust care plans.
• Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary team for plan of care and patient outcomes.
• Demonstrates advanced nursing skills for ECMO specialty in the CVICU.
