RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Post Intensive Care Unit-I at Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville, NJ. You will assess patients, administer care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The role emphasizes patient education, accurate EPIC EMR documentation, and ongoing professional development within a supportive safety-focused culture.

Qualifications

Active New Jersey RN license or Multistate RN license with NJ endorsement.
BLS and ACLS certifications within 6 months of hire.
BSN strongly preferred; accredited nursing program graduation required.
Med/Surgical or Telemetry experience preferred.
ERP/EMR experience with EPIC preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes.
Administer safe, evidence-based medications and hands-on care.
Serve as clinical partner to physicians for coordinated care decisions.
Educate patients and families for the next phase of care.
Document care accurately and timely in the EMR.
Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and ensure smooth transitions.
Contribute to a collaborative team with focus on safety and outcomes.
Pursue ongoing growth through continuing education and ladder opportunities.
