Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit at Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville, NJ. This role entails comprehensive patient assessments, safe medication administration, and close collaboration with physicians, with documentation in EPIC EMR to ensure continuity of care.

The position is full-time, daytime shift (7a-7:30p) with every-other weekend and rotating holidays; NJ RN license and BLS required; Bachelor's degree preferred and CCRN a

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New Jersey required or in good standing.
• BLS Certification required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing strongly preferred.
• CCRN certification is a plus.
• Experience with EPIC EMR systems preferred.
• Strong communication and clinical judgment are essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes.
• Administer safe medications and provide hands-on care.
• Collaborate with physicians and providers for timely care decisions.
• Educate patients and families to ensure understanding and preparedness.
• Document accurately in the electronic medical record to support continuity of care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to care transitions.
• Support professional growth through continuing education opportunities.
