RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit at Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville, NJ. This full-time night-shift role supports high-acuity patients with a focus on safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

The RN will assess patients, administer care, document in EPIC, and collaborate with physicians to optimize outcomes. A NJ RN license and BLS are required; BSN is preferred; CCRN and EMR experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing strongly preferred.
• CCR N or related critical-care certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and respond to clinical changes promptly.
• Administer medications and treatments safely, with strong clinical judgment.
• Collaborate with physicians and advanced providers to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families to support informed decisions and next steps.
• Document accurately in the EMR to ensure continuity and safety.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and care transitions.
• Contribute to a collaborative, learning-focused ICU team environment.
• Pursue ongoing professional growth through education and ladder opportunities.
