Job summary

Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville, NJ seeks a Registered Nurse for the Post Intensive Care Unit-I. This full-time day shift position runs 7:00am–7:30pm with every other weekend, providing age-specific nursing care and collaboration with the care team.

Responsibilities include patient teaching, discharge planning, and participation in unit improvement activities; active NJ RN license, BLS, and ACLS within six months are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Active NJ RN License or Multistate RN License with NJ Endorsement.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association.
• ACLS Certification within six (6) months of hire.
• Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and demonstrated writing skills.
• Minimum two (2) years RN experience working in Critical Care or Telemetry.

Responsibilities

• Organize and administer age-specific professional care to patients within an assigned unit.
• Support the mission and standards of the nursing department and regulatory agencies.
• Participate in patient teaching and discharge planning.
• Participate in unit Performance Improvement activities.
