Job summary

Holy Cross Hospital – Jordan Valley in West Jordan, UT is seeking a registered nurse to collaborate with the healthcare team and patient/family to meet physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, advancing compassionate nursing.

You will promote safety and quality care through the nursing process, document accurately, and participate in education for patients and families. A state RN license and an Associates Degree are required; a Bachelor’s is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma, or by endorsement.
• RN license in state of employment.
• Physical requirements: Medium Work exert/lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs and intervene to optimize outcomes.
• Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrate competency in IV therapy, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient charts and documentation.
• Promote and advocate for patient safety and rights.
• Educate patients and families, assessing learning needs and teaching effectiveness.
