Northern Nevada Medical Center in Sparks, Nevada is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse for per diem shifts. The role provides safe, competent nursing care in accordance with facility policies and serves as a professional leader within the healthcare team.

Responsibilities focus on Patient Centered Care and maintaining service excellence. Qualified applicants will hold a Nevada nursing license, have at least two years of critical care experience, and hold current BLS; ACLS is required or obtained

Formación

• Current Nevada nursing license is required.
• At least two years of critical care nursing experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS certification or plan to obtain within six months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Constructs and implements the plan of care for ICU patients.
• Coordinates interdisciplinary plan of care and discharge planning.
• Performs hourly rounds to assess pain, safety and patient needs.
• Educates patient and family about hospital care delivery model and policies.

Educación

Nevada nursing license

BLS certification

ACLS certification (or obtain within six months)
