Job summary

Northern Nevada Medical Center in Sparks, NV is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse for a part-time day-shift role (24 hours/week). You will provide safe, high-quality nursing care in accord with facility policies and patient-centered care principles.

The role requires a current Nevada nursing license, at least one year of critical care experience, BLS, and ACLS (or within six months). You will join a team dedicated to compassionate, evidence-based care with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Nevada nursing license required.
• Minimum 1 year of ICU/critical care experience.
• BLS certification current.
• ACLS certification or within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Constructs and implements the plan of care using nursing knowledge and skill.
• Coordinates the interdisciplinary plan of care and discharge plans.
• Conducts hourly rounds to improve safety and communication.
• Informs patients and families about the Patient Centered Care model.
