Job summary

Northern Nevada Medical Center in Sparks, Nevada is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse for a part-time role at 24 hours per week with a night shift. The nurse provides safe, competent care per policies and leads the healthcare team in a Patient Centered Care model.

Relocation assistance is offered and full benefits accompany the position. Ideal candidates will hold a Nevada nursing license with at least one year in critical care, current BLS, and ACLS or obtain ACLS within six months of hire.

Qualifications

• Current Nevada nursing license.
• At least one year of critical care nursing experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS (or obtained within six months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care for ICU patients.
• leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• perform hourly rounds and coordinate interdisciplinary care.
• inform patients/families about care delivery and visitation policies.
