Job summary

Ascension is seeking an experienced RN to join the ICU team at Ascension Seton Medical Center Hays in Kyle, TX. This night shift, full-time role requires clinical excellence and dedication to patient-centered care.

You will provide direct patient care, coordinate with the interdisciplinary team, and ensure accurate EHR documentation while supporting discharge planning and safety protocols. ACLS/BLS are required within specified timelines and Texas RN licensure is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Active Texas RN license required.
• Diploma in nursing from an accredited program.
• ACLS within 6 months and BLS within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as an RN, following protocols to ensure safe outcomes.
• Implement and monitor individualized care plans to support recovery.
• Monitor, document, and communicate patient changes to the care team.
• Administer orders and document in the EHR/EMR accurately.
• Coordinate discharge planning for safe transitions.
