Job summary

Ascension Seton Medical Center Austin is seeking an experienced RN to join the CVICU team on the night shift. This full-time role offers exposure to a high-acuity environment with a collaborative interdisciplinary team.

You will provide direct patient care, develop and monitor care plans, and ensure timely administration of orders while adhering to policy and standards. Discharge planning will be a key focus to support safe transitions.

Qualifications

• BLS provider within 30 days of hire.
• RN license required before hire.
• ACLS preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in CVICU with evidence-based interventions.
• Implement and monitor individualized care plans and adjust treatments.
• Administer physician and nursing orders promptly while complying with standards.
• Lead discharge planning with the care team for safe post-acute transitions.
