Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking a Registered Nurse, Coordinator of Patient Care Services, to lead daily unit operations and act as a clinical role model for the patient care team.

You will oversee care standards, coordinate patient flow, and support professional development within Magnet and Shared Governance frameworks. Requires RN licensure and acute care experience; evening shift on a 3pm–11pm schedule in New Jersey.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• 3 years as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting.
• Active RN license in state of practice (NJ preferred).
• Effective communication and collaboration with interprofessional teams.
• Knowledge of discharge planning and patient safety principles.
• Ability to coordinate staffing, scheduling, and workload efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Acts as resource, role model, and clinical leader for the patient care team.
• Evaluates patient needs and makes care recommendations.
• Monitors staff schedules to ensure adequate staffing to meet patient care needs.
• Collaborates with Nurse Manager to evaluate and improve nursing practice.
• Provides patient care support and mentors colleagues on councils and the Clinical Ladder program.
