Job summary

Aurora Health Care is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) to assist registered nurses in daily patient care at our Wisconsin facility. You will help with bathing, feeding, mobility, and routine tasks while maintaining accurate documentation in the EMR.

The role requires strong communication and timely care delivery. Responsibilities include participating in admissions, transfers and discharges, specimen collection, and maintaining patient safety and comfort under RN supervision.

Qualifications

• Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 45 days.
• Nurse Aide in good standing as indicated with the State Registry.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care (bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, ambulation).
• Document vital signs, intake/output, and weights in EMR accurately.
• Perform rounding and communicate patient needs to RN promptly.
• Aid in admission/transfer/discharge processes and patient orientation.
• Collect specimens and label them per approved processes.
