Job summary

Mercy is seeking a qualified educator to develop, deliver, and coordinate standardized new hire orientation for clinical coworkers across the ministry. The role includes updating core programs in line with evidence-based practice and providing ongoing education for change initiatives and annual competency, including life support and workplace safety certifications.

Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's or enrollment within six months, 2+ years of clinical experience, and applicable state

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Discipline required or enrolled within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.
• Current appropriate state license if required in discipline.
• AHA BLS provider.
• Demonstrates clinical knowledge related to evidence-based practice with the credibility to positively influence the delivery of patient care.
• Proven ability to organize and multitask to meet project deadlines.
• Computer skills in Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of audiovisual equipment is an advantage.
• Knowledge of equipment/technology used in delivery of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Develops, delivers, and coordinates standardized new hire orientation programs for licensed and unlicensed clinical coworkers.
• Develops, delivers and coordinates ongoing education for change efforts and annual competency including certifications related to life support and workplace safety.
