Job summary

Peterson Health in Kerrville, Texas, is seeking a full-time Night Shift ICU RN to join our Magnet-designated hospital family. You will assess, plan, and deliver comprehensive care to critically ill patients on the Med/Surg ICU, with a focus on evidence-based practice and family-centered care.

The role requires a Texas RN license, BLS, ACLS (ACLS completion within six months), and at least one year of relevant ICU or med/surg RN experience. BSN is preferred, and CCRN is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• Current Texas Licensure as a Registered Nurse, BLS, ACLS (ACLS must be completed within six months of employment)
• CCRN (preferred).
• One year experience as an RN on a medical/surgical unit.
• Previous ICU RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care per standards of nursing practice and Peterson Health mission.
• Assess and reassess patient needs and plan care, including spiritual, emotional, and psychosocial aspects.
• Implement and delegate care with unit staff to ensure quality outcomes.
