Job summary

Peterson Health in Kerrville, Texas is seeking a full-time Night Shift ICU RN for 7pm–7am. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care, assess patient needs, and coordinate care with the healthcare team to ensure quality outcomes.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, a Texas RN license with BLS and ACLS within six months, and at least one year of medical/surgical RN experience; ICU experience preferred. A sign-on bonus is offered for qualifying candidates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Texas RN license and BLS; ACLS within six months of employment and renewal within two months of the recommended date of renewal.
• One year experience as an RN on a medical/surgical unit.
• Previous ICU RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to ICU patients during night shift (7pm–7am) ensuring safety, comfort and effective care.
• Assess and reassess each patient and plan the care addressing spiritual, emotional, physiological and psychosocial needs.
• Develop, implement and evaluate the Plan of Care and coordinate with unit personnel to carry it out.
