Job summary

Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Intensive Care Unit on the night shift. You will work under the supervision of a nurse to provide patient care, observe patient conditions, and support high-acuity patients in a 24-bed ICU.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, and BLS certification within 90 days of hire, with preference for prior health care experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• BLS Certification due within 90 days of hire.
• One of the listed certifications required (CNA, NCMA, NCPCT, etc.).
• Previous health care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the supervision of a nurse.
• Support admissions and discharge processes.
• Observe patients and report changes to the nurse.
