Job summary

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or Equivalent or higher.
• Certification programs or CNA/NCMA/NCPCT credentials.
• Active clinician training pathways or current clinical program enrollment.
• Recent PCT or Nursing Assistant experience (past 3 years).

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under supervision as a Patient Care Technician.
• Assist with daily living activities and basic clinical tasks.
• Support nursing staff in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Education

HS Diploma or Equivalent

Sentara Care Partner Certification Program

CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant)

NCMA (National Certified Medical Assistant)

NCPCT (National Patient Care Technician)

Navy Hospital Corps School (completion)

EMR/EMS/EMT/AEMT/Paramedic (Emergency services)

RN/LPN/RT/PT clinical coursework (current student)

PCT/Nursing Assistant experience (last 3 years)
