Job summary

Sentara Careplex Hospital in Hampton, VA seeks a Patient Care Technician for the ICU during Nights on a full-time basis. The role involves providing patient care, assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring vitals, and performing phlebotomy and EKG tasks under RN supervision.

The position requires a HS diploma or equivalent with applicable CNA/NCMA/NCPCT or similar credentials, and BLS certification eligibility. Excellent documentation and safety practices are expected.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or Equivalent is required with one of the listed certs.
• Current PCT/Nursing Assistant training or experience is preferred.
• Eligible for BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and assist with daily living activities.
• Monitor vitals, mobility, and specimen collection.
• Document observations accurately and report changes to RN.
