Job summary

Air Methods in Joplin, MO is seeking a qualified paramedic to deliver pre-hospital advanced life support in a high‑volume 911 environment and to participate in ongoing education with CBS support. You will work as part of a medical flight team, supporting liftoff and mission safety, while maintaining documentation and compliance.

The role requires strong clinical skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, on‑call rotation.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with 3+ years related experience or training
• Bachelor's degree in health-related field preferred
• Minimum three years’ recent experience in a busy 911 system
• Previous critical care transport and flight experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-hospital advanced life support including assessment, triage, and treatment according to Air Methods CBS Medical Directors
• Carry out the mission and goals of Air Methods CBS with safety as a priority
• Maintain documentation of patient care, licensure, certifications, and required trainings
• Support flight operations, communication, and safety during missions
• Participate in ongoing education and departmental activities
