Job summary

Air Methods CBS in Kennesaw, GA seeks a skilled Paramedic to deliver high-quality pre-hospital advanced life support during ambulance and helicopter transports. You will document patient care, work within state-defined scopes, and participate in pre-mission briefings and post-mission debriefings.

The role requires 3+ years in a busy 911 environment and active EMT-P licensure. The position offers ongoing education support, a comprehensive benefits package, and a 5% travel expectation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 3 years related experience and/or training.
• Bachelor's degree in health-related field preferred.
• Minimum three (3) years’ recent experience in a busy 911 system.
• ECMO experience is highly encouraged for this position in Kennesaw.
• Current EMT-Paramedic license and state certifications as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-hospital advanced life support care from initial contact until patient care transfer to the accepting medical facility; maintain thorough patient care documentation.
• Practice within defined scope of practice as established by state regulations and Air Methods CBS; maintain competency through ongoing training.
• Attend pre-mission liftoff briefings and mission debriefings and assist pilot as requested; ensure safety throughout transport.
