Job summary

Air Methods CBS is seeking a Paramedic to deliver pre-hospital advanced life support in a busy 911 environment from on-site Omaha bases. You’ll work as part of a medical flight crew, managing patient care and documentation while maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities include pre-hospital care, equipment maintenance, and participation in mission briefings and debriefings. A valid EMT-P license and required certifications are essential, with ongoing education supported by Air Methods CBS.

Qualifications

  • Minimum three years’ related experience in a busy 911 system.
  • Parademic scope of practice per state regulations and Medical Director guidance.
  • Ability to maintain documentation and certifications as required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide pre-hospital advanced life support from initial contact to handoff at receiving facility.
  • Maintain equipment, supplies, and aviation safety standards for Air Methods CBS.
  • Attend pre-mission briefings and post-mission debriefings; assist pilots and follow liftoff checklists.
