Air Methods Corporation in Joplin, MO seeks an experienced Paramedic to deliver advanced life support in a busy 911-driven environment. You will participate in helicopter transports, maintain documentation, and work with pilots during missions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum three years’ recent experience in a busy 911 system.
• EMT-Paramedic license in state(s) served; FP-C or CCP-C preferred within two years.
• ACLS/PALS, BLS/CPR certifications current, NIMS IS 100, 200, 700, 800, HazMat.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-hospital advanced life support and patient care from first contact to facility hand-off.
• Maintain accurate patient care documentation and adherence to Air Methods CBS guidelines.
• Attend briefings, assist in liftoff, communicate with pilot, and ensure safety throughout transport.
• Report equipment issues and maintain onboard supplies for rapid response.
