Job summary

Aurora Health Care, now part of Advocate Health, seeks a float ICU RN to support multiple Wisconsin hospitals and units. You will deliver adaptable, high‑quality nursing care across diverse settings based on organizational need. Teamwork, flexibility, and strong clinical judgment are essential.

Required: active RN license, BLS and ACLS, and minimum 2 years ICU experience. You will work a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays, with emphasis on safety, communication, and professional

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state.
• BLS (and ACLS) certifications required.
• Minimum ICU RN experience: 2 years.
• Weekend shifts: 4 weekends per 6-week schedule; 2 holidays per year.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts plans and collaborates with the team.
• Upholds a culture of safety and quality outcomes.
• Maintains timely EHR documentation and communication with care teams.
• May float to other units within the service area as needed.
