Job summary

Aurora Health, now part of Advocate Health, Wisconsin Resource Team provides ICU coverage across the Wisconsin division. Float RNs deliver adaptable, high-quality nursing care across multiple hospitals and units based on organizational need.

Teammates must be flexible, skilled, and ready to deliver exceptional care in a wide variety of settings. Weekend and holiday requirements apply; 4 weekends per 6 weeks and 2 holidays per year.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the applicable state(s).
• BLS certification; ACLS preferred or required depending on unit.

Responsibilities

• Engage in governance, quality initiatives, and evidence-based care.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care with patients and families.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans as needed.
• Maintain safety culture and accurate EHR documentation.
• May float to other units to meet care needs.
