Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a Resource Float Pool RN to support ICU service lines. Experience with critically ill patients and comfort with floating among CVICU, SICU, and MICU is required, with potential support in other areas as needed.

Responsibilities include comprehensive nursing assessment, care planning, implementation, and documentation within The Christ Hospital model of care and patient-family centered care principles.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in Ohio with strong critical care experience.
• BSN within five years of hire, or higher degree preferred but not required.
• BLS certification; ACLS within six months for ICU areas.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition using nursing process in ICU settings.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care with interdisciplinary team.
• Document care accurately in electronic medical record and handoff data.
• Provide education to patients and families and participate in discharge planning.
