Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a Resource Float Pool RN to support ICU service lines across CVICU, SICU and MICU. The role requires experience caring for critically ill patients and comfort with floating between multiple ICU environments.

RNs may also assist other areas throughout the hospital based on patient care and staffing needs; strong teamwork, critical thinking and evidence-based practice are essential in this fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio RN license required.
• BSN preferred; ADN holders must obtain BSN within 5 years of hire.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform holistic nursing assessments and develop care plans for ICU patients.
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers and other nurses; communicate via SBAR.
• Monitor, intervene and respond to emergencies in critical care settings.
• Provide care across CVICU, SICU and MICU as needed based on staffing.
