Job summary

UCI Health is seeking an experienced ICU/CCU nurse to join the Enterprise Float Pool. The nurse will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized plans of care for a defined patient group, ensuring coordination across disciplines and continuity of care from admission to discharge.

Responsibilities include evaluating patient outcomes, revising care plans as needed, and mentoring students and new nurses.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Critical Care/ICU experience
• RN license in good standing
• Shifts include evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
• Ability to float between Orange and Irvine locations

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a plan of care for assigned patients
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams
• Evaluate outcomes and discharge readiness
• Mentor students and new nurses
• Act as a Patient Care Coordinator as needed
