Job summary

Saint Joseph Medical Center - Joliet is hiring a Registered Nurse for the ICU (MICU, Neuro ICU) cross-trained to CVICU, with a full-time night shift 7pm–7:30am. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available; compensation ranges from $35.70 to $54.11 per hour.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license.
• Current BLS certification on hire and maintained.
• Critical Care Course preferred.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certification within 30 days on hire and maintained.
• Minimum one year as staff RN in acute care; critical care preferred.
• CCRN certification preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse delivers safe patient care using the nursing process.
• Direct patient care within scope of practice and guide patient/family teaching.
• Communicate with physicians about changes in condition and test results.
