Job summary

Saint Joseph Medical Center - Joliet is seeking a Registered Nurse for the ICU, cross-trained to CVICU, with a nights schedule (7p–7:30a) in Joliet, Illinois. Eligible candidates may receive a $10,000 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.

The role requires an active RN license, BLS, ACLS, critical care experience, and preferred CCRN/BSN. This full-time position offers competitive compensation and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care preferred.
• Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse delivers safe patient care using the nursing process in the ICU, directing and guiding patient/family teaching.
• Communicates with physicians about changes in the patient’s condition and treatment response.
• Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality while ensuring high standards of care.
