Saint Joseph Medical Center - Joliet is seeking a Registered Nurse for the ICU (MICU, Neuro ICU) cross-trained to CVICU. Full-Time, Nights shift 7p - 7:30a, at 333 Madison St, Joliet, IL 60435.

The role offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates and a compensation range of $35.70 - $54.11 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package. Interview process is streamlined with quick decisions.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital; critical care preferred.
• CCRN certification preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse delivers safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice in the ICU.
• Directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care.
• Communicates with the physician about changes in the patient’s condition and test results.
• Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
• Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality.
