Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, ME is seeking a Patient Care Assistant (CNA) for the Intensive Care Unit on the Day shift. The role involves direct patient care and support under the supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and unit.

Qualifications include CNA certification with a High School Diploma, BLS within 30 days, and preferred phlebotomy/EKG certifications. Six months of acute care experience is preferred. Full-time days. Competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Current phlebotomy certification upon hire, preferred.
• Current EKG certification upon hire, preferred.
• Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician's office preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assists patients with activities of daily living.
• Provides basic nursing care under RN supervision.
• Maintains a safe environment on the unit.
• Supports nursing team in daily patient care tasks.
