Central Maine Medical Center, part of Prime Healthcare Foundation, seeks a CNA-Intensive Care Unit for full-time day shifts in Lewiston, ME. The role involves assisting patients with daily living activities, delivering basic nursing care, and upholding a safe environment under supervision of the RN in charge.

Preferred qualifications include CNA certification, BLS, phlebotomy/EKG credentials, and knowledge of medical terminology, with six months acute care experience highly wished.

Formación

• CNA certification required or state approved certification preferred.
• BLS (AHA) certification within 30 days of hire and kept current.
• Phlebotomy and EKG certifications preferred on hire.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology is expected.
• Minimum six months of acute care hospital or physician's office experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• The Patient Care Assistant assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care and helps maintain a safe environment under RN supervision.
